Halo Victory In Irvine
We had an awesome win Wednesday night against the Irvine Red Sox the team was in great form. Domenick Lokeijak had his first start against the Red Sox and showed strength from the first pitch. 2nd pitcher Justin Fields held the lead and closer Daniel Flournoy taking the mound for the first time this season. Closed them out for the final three outs. Special mention to Patrick Sweeney for staying in the game and holding it down with a leg injury and not letting up. Also congrats to Frankie Elizondo on his first hit of the season and also Daniel Flournoy for his first hit of the season also. Eric Anderson for some awesome plays holding down 2nd base. And to all the team for the baserunning you all achieved you guys rock!!!!!

Angels lose game but give great performance
We lost to the Tustin Yankees 11-8 but all in all the boys gave a great performance. Tyler Fields homerun was spectacular! Also we had a brilliant squeeze play bunt performed by Eric Anderson. There were a couple of errors that we could have went without but other than that fielding and defense was great. After a batting cage session this tuesday we should be ready for the Irvine Red Sox on Wednesday. LET'S GO HALO'S!!!!!!!!
Rain Out
Opening day resulted in a rainout at Amerige Park after the second inning. The team showed great signs of promise for the upcoming season in just the two innings of play we were able to squeeze in. Hitting and offense were impressive as was our defense. There were a couple of snags that were hit in defense but an overall good outing for our first official game!
Final Score: Tustin Angels 1 - Fullerton 1 Tie Game.
