Welcome to the 2020 Tustin Pony Baseball Spring Season!
 

Tustin Pony is proud to offer the same registration rates since 2015! With many other local baseball leagues rate's increasing and offering less, Tustin Pony's rates haves remained consistent while offering more to its players, parents, and coaches, including an Early Bird Registration Rate.

2020 Division Age Chart

It is very important that your player is registered in the correct division. It may be hard to leave Mighty Mite, Shetland, or any division, but it is important that each player is in the correct division in order to be considered for All Stars and to ensure the safety of everyone in the league.

Family Discount Details:

Registering two or more siblings in your family qualifies for you to receive a $10 discount on each additional registration. You will be presented with a “Register Another Player” link near the bottom of the Review page. Click on the link to complete additional registrations. Family discounts cannot be provided if players are not registered on the same order.


Required Attire/Equipment for Player:
  • Protective cup: Boys must wear a hard cup and Girls must wear a soft cup.

  • For Practices: Comfortable clothing that will enable a full range of motion for running, catching, throwing and hitting a baseball. (Long baseball or athletic pants, baseball cleats and hat are strongly recommended)

  • Glove

  • Bat

  • Batting Helmet

  • Water Bottle

Note: Metal Cleats are only allowed in the Bronco Division during the regular season.


SPRING PLAYER EVALUATIONS

 

Evaluations for the Spring 2020 Season will be held on

Saturday, January 18th & Sunday, January 19th, 2020

All TYBA players are required to participate in Player Evaluations 

 

If you are unable to make your child’s assigned time please notify the player agent at tybaplayeragent1@gmail.com
 

Key Evaluation Information

Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your assigned time to allow ample time to:

  1. Check-in (located on the side of the snack bar)

  • Have your child confirm uniform sizing and number requests

  • Have your child warm up prior to their on-field tryout

  • ALL TYBA Players need to bring the medical release form completed and with current picture of player attached. Please see the document below.                                                                                 

ALL TYBA Players Must:

  • Present proof of age (birth certificate, passport or the equivalent). **New Players to the League only**

Upon completion of the check-in process, players will obtain a number from the check-in table which is affixed to the back of the players shirt or jersey

Players will then be directed to the “warm-up” and “stand-by” area

Upon completion of the tryout process, players may leave the field or may choose to stay and help shag balls during the batting portion of other tryout sessions

Evaluation Attire & Equipment

  • Players should wear comfortable clothing that enables them a full range of motion for running, catching, throwing, and hitting a baseball.  

  • Please make sure your player wears a protective cup. This is required.

  • Long baseball or athletic pants, baseball cleats, and hat are strongly recommended.  

  • Note: Metal cleats are not allowed for Evaluations.

  • Players will need to bring their own glove, bat, and batting helmet to the tryout. Baseballs will be available for use by players who do not have their own to use.
